"Sweet" 16 Volleyball League

The sport of Volleyball has played an important role in the lives of at least two generations of active people in the Farmington area. Five different Leagues have played at the Community Center's excellent facility since 1980 with one still providing a weekly "fix" for technically skilled players, the "Sweet" 16 League. A group of 30 to 40 adults either form teams based on subjective player ratings or draft teams with the goal of competitive balance. The League is entering its 21st of existence, is officiated and co-ed in nature and can be seen by anyone interested in that level of play on Sunday afternoons at the Bjorn Gymnasium at the Community Center.
