The Farmington Police Department participates in the elder checks program started by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. The program was designed to assure the safety of our seniors living in our community by having officers conduct scheduled visits that individuals have pre-arranged on preferred days and times. Any senior living in Farmington who feels that they would benefit from routine visits from an officer should fill out the elder check registration form and return it to the department.
